Your new responsibilities

  • End-to-end project management for technology developments: technology feasibilities as well as full technology development and industrialization are in scope
  • Develop project plans with the Project core team (resourcing requirements, logistical constraints, R&D CAPEX requirements, lead-times and other dependencies)
  • Covering the entire development lifecycle, from Project Start to Project Close
  • Guides the identification of risks that may arise during a project, develops effective and efficient risk response measures
  • Challenging all project contributors on all their estimates and deliverables in the pursuit of achieving R&D excellence
  • Coordination of the team in the daily business and driving of project execution and coordinating activities of various Teams, ensuring that projects reach each milestone/gate on time, on budget and on spec
  • Lead problem resolution and seeking alternative paths when faced with setbacks
  • Track and report project progress using ams OSRAM project management standards, escalating issues to management when necessary


Who we are looking for


  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering or equivalent studies
  • Several years (~ 5 years) of professional experience (semiconductor industry experience is an advantage)
  • Experience (~ 2 years) in project management (PMI certification is advantage)
  • Experience with stakeholder-management (R&D, Management, Operations, Procurement etc.)
  • Strong organizational and team building abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is an advantage)

We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
