(Senior Staff) Engineer ASIC Validation (d/m/f)

Your new responsibilities

  • Define and develop silicon validation solutions: build complex optical test setup, design PCBs and drive their manufacturing flow, implement test scripts to control ICs and Lab equipment
  • Execute IC silicon characterization measurements across multiple devices, processes and temperature using automated test solutions
  • Generate relevant documentation and material for customers (internal and external): characterization plan, characterization report, various reviews and presentations
  • Create standardized validation concepts, procedures, templates and guidelines
  • Work in close collaboration with the IC design, Test and Quality teams


Who we are looking for


  • University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3+ years of working experience with IC Validation & Characterization in the semiconductor industry
  • Experience with mixed signal blocks such as ADC, DC/DC converters, various analog blocks and communication protocol (i.e. I2C/SPI)
  • Experience with National Instruments PXI Hardware, Lab measurement equipment, Python, C/C++, MS office
  • PCB design and layout experience as well as knowledge about optics and optical sensors are a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure and in full autonomy (well organized) combined with good verbal / written communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent communication skills in english
