- Perform failure analysis based on internal and external requests using visual inspection, electrical verification, X-ray, chemical and mechanical decap, PEM, cross-section, SEM/EDX, and/or FIB/EDX.
- Compile data and write FA reports.
- Support FA Lab operations and maintain tools/equipment such as optical microscopes, current sources, X-ray, hot plates, fume hoods, cross section machine, SEM/FIB with EDX, etc.
- Support ISO/IES 17025 accreditation sustaining activities and ensure compliance (e.g. 5S, safety, ESD, cost compliance, radiation protection, laser protection, passing audit and deviation correction).
- Continually improve FA workflows to ensure efficiency and method development.
- Sustain laboratory activities and actively provide technical advice and guidance to others when applicable.
- Foster collaboration and positive culture.
- Perform other tasks as required by superiors.
Who we are looking for
- Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering, science principles or equivalent.
- At least with 3 years working experience in laboratory operation environment.
- Experience in MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 laboratory accreditation.
- Experience with Semiconductor FA methods.
- Knowledge in back end technology and processing will be an advantage.
- Knowledge in optical semiconductor and failure analysis.
- Use of internal database, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook.
- Highly organized, self-driven way of working.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of employees.
- Able to work under minimum supervision
- Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken).
