Your new responsibilities

  • Support R&D projects, lead the design of experiments, data preparation, and analytics to ensure robust and reliable results.
  • Apply advanced statistical techniques and tools to extract insights and develop predictive and prescriptive modelling.
  • Drive collaboration with R&D to ensure a smooth ramp-up of new optoelectronic technologies through the application of data analytics.
  • Oversee the maintenance and further development of data science techniques and tools in collaboration with the Data Science team located in Regensburg.
  • Lead the exploration, preparation, and optimization of data flow from various data sources into centralized staging/analytics layers with seamless integration into reporting dashboards and visualization reports.      
  • Implement and oversee data governance practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.


What we look for


  • Ph.D/Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science
  • equivalent with relevant industrial experience.
  • Understanding in semiconductor technologies will be an added advantage.
  • Relevant industrial experience in Data Science and knowledge in optoelectronics advantageous.
  • Highly-proficient in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science.
  • Design of Experiments, scientific studies, decision-making, highly proficient in statistical & analytic skills.
  • Profound knowledge in a programming language, preferably Python, and experience in Cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Very good knowledge of English in verbal and written form.
  • Detailed & strong analytical thinking with excellent communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI.
