• Establish and fine-tune molding parameters to maximize yield, improve product quality, and minimize equipment downtime
• Troubleshoot molding issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement through innovative solutions
• Perform risk assessments and make disposition decisions for abnormal or on-hold lots prior to shipment
• Lead corrective/preventive actions for defects or audit findings, ensuring timely closure and compliance with quality standards
• Maintain accurate FMEA, control plans, and work instructions; implement effective process controls and monitoring systems
• Work closely with production, product, quality, and equipment teams to support operational goals and ensure smooth production flow
• Provide training to operators and technicians, and actively support internal and customer audits

What we look for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or related field)
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in semiconductor molding or related back-end processes
• Knowledge of molding processes, materials, and equipment operation
• Experiences with Fico/Towa machine will be an advantage
• Continuous improvement mindset and high motivation towards challenges
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to lead root cause analysis and implement effective solutions
• Familiar with process control tools and techniques (e.g., 8D, DOE, Minitab, etc)
• Experience with systems such as SPC, SPACE, FMEA, or equivalent is an advantage
• Fluent in Malay and English language
• Good written and verbal communication skills, able to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
