- To lead cross functional projects related to LED assembly process improvement in EOL.
- Identify new possibilities and evaluate process technologies to improve yield and quality.
- Technical consultancy to Manufacturing eg. Task Force.
- Responsible to take over new & disruptive assembly- end of line processes from R&D into maturity.
- Responsible to create process standards for worldwide Manufacturing.
- Accountable for MF in Q-projects with respect to new processes & equipment; Technical input to R&D.
- Contribution to Process Roadmap and Assembly Design Rules.
- Involvement in hardware mechanical design for process improvement.
- To ensure self-development to continually upgrading overall performance by maintaining organizational knowledge through design guideline, design rules, supplier capability, knowledge management system & actively participating in internal and external knowledge sharing (Technical symposium, trade shows, etc).
What we look for
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Mechatronic/ Electromechanical), Engineering (Metallurgy/ Material Science), Physics or equivalent.
- Min 5 years of experience in Semicondutor. Experience and knowledge in LED Assembly process & equipment technologies in EOL processes (Casting, Spray Coating). Technical know how in hardware mechanical design is an added advantage.
- Min 5 years in Process Development/Engineering with good project management. Experience & knowledge in process & material interaction study & analysis.
- Hands-on and process development experience with Asymtek, Protec, or similar type equipment is preferred.
- Strong analytical skill, systematic problem-solving approach skill, statistical knowledge with knowledge of Six Sigma is preferred.
- Good communication skills that can enable the candidate to work well with internal cross functional teams and overseas suppliers.
