- Lead and motivate production teams to achieve established targets, with full accountability for shift operations, including equipment, process, and production activities. Ability to inspire, guide, and develop teams to achieve operational excellence and support for continuous improvement (BIC).
- Conduct real-time monitoring of production systems and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate efficiency and optimize shift productivity. Exercise sound decision-making and prioritization during night shifts and weekends to address urgent or ad hoc requirements. Expectation of strong judgment and prioritization skills for handling urgent issues during off-hours.
- Provide leadership to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, while driving discipline, attendance management, and adherence to 5S practices on the shopfloor. Implement closed-loop communication on findings with all stakeholders to guarantee accountability as a top priority.
- Maintain responsibility for shift performance metrics, including productivity output, WIP linearity, and WIP hold. Perform data analysis to identify trends and implement improvement initiatives for high WIP holding areas. Continuous Improvement mindset to driving efficiency, reducing WIP, and implementing best practices.
- Collaborate with Process Engineering & PDE teams to ensure on-time disposition of on-hold lots within the shift.
- Ensure execution of production plans in accordance with the Line Steering Plan. Drive performance across WC to consistently meet or exceed key delivery expectations. Foster a results-oriented culture focused on timely output and operational excellence.
- WC to ensure WIP flow linearity, trigger pull & push point.
What we look for
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years in production or manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in leadership role.
- Knowledge of production systems and KPIs, Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles, Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems.
- To work night shifts and weekends as needed; strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
