• Subcon product quality management and audit. Review monthly quality reports from subcon. Set quality target and drive improvement actions at subcon's to achieve target set. Perform periodical audit at subcon's processes and quality system.
• Subcon FAR management. Work with subcon on the root cause and corrective action investigation on customer complaint. Verify corrective action implementation and effectiveness of corrective action. Track and drive subcon to response 3D and 8D within required timelines.
• Subcon development. Assess product quality and service performance of subcon using monthly score card. Drive and develop subcon quality through improvement program.
• New process qualification and product transfer management. Coordinate new process / product qualification activities and provide qualification status update. Work with subcon on failures found during qualification and improvement / corrective actions. Conduct process audit to release the line for mass production.
• Engineering Change Notification and Special Clearance management. Review Product/Process Change and Special Clearance requests together with subcon, OS stakeholders to propose qualification plan for changes. Review the qualification reports to ensure the results and format meet OS requirement. Submit Product/Process Change and Special Clearance for approval.
• Subcon RMA. Request RMA number from subcon on customer return. Perform disposition on RMA within required timeline.
• Customer Audit. To prepare subcon on any customer audit. To represent OS in customer audit.
• Reliability Monitoring and PPAP. Request subcons to conduct annual reliability monitoring. Review the data and publish on OS System. Request PPAP documents and Cpk data from subcon and update into OS System.

What we look for

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (e.g. physics, electrical engineering, material science or similar).
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the areas of  Quality/Engineering or Subcon/Supplier Management.
• Technical proficiency in Backend Semiconductor manufacturing (added advantage).
• Experience in Supplier/Subcon audit. Certified VDA auditors (added advantage).
• Automotive background and good knowledge of automotive core tools (8D, FMEA, 5WHY, VDA6.3, IATF 16949, etc.); Strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with statistical analysis software likes JMP and Minitab.
• High flexibility, able to travel to subcon sites locally and internationally (includes ad hoc visits).
• Very good communication skills and good appearance in front of subcon, suppliers or customers (required: English, beneficial: Chinese).
