Senior Director of Application Engineering Illumination

Your new responsibilities

  • Manages global Application Engineering team for Illumination.
  • Long term strategic & technological funnel development for product roadmap if Illumination/Industry business.
  • Technical negotiating and interaction with Key customers for Illumination and Industry.
  • Customer system development together with definition of System Architecture.
  • Responsible on technical support to achieve Product Revenue and Design-Win.


What we look for


  • Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in the semiconductor or LED lighting industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role with proven experience in managing high-performing, cross-cultural teams.
  • Strong interpersonal, international and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage with employees, customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced knowledge in opto semiconductors and related lighting applications.
  • Confident public speaker with experience presenting at customer events and industry conferences.
  • Fluent in English language, German and Chinese languages are helpful.
