Your new responsibilities

  • Coordination and negotiation of our technical LED and laser diode chip requirements with the suppliers.
  • Responsible for the chip target specifications and the technical items of the purchase specifications.
  • To define technical improvements together with the suppliers in alignment with all relevant internal parties, with the focus on performance, quality, workability. To finalize it in roadmaps. To understand the interconnection between the chip and the product materials and processes.
  • To provide the risk assessment in case of chip design or process changes, to support the quality departments to define the right reliability tests.
  • Support of quality management (CQM, SQE) in case of quality issues and supplier audits.
  • Support of procurement for price negotiation.
  • External chip technology training for colleagues.
     


What we look for


  • BSc/MSC Degree in physics, electrical engineering, microsystems technology or a comparable technical / scientific course.
  • min 3-5 year professional experience in LED or LD chip technology, like chip design and processing.
  • min 3-5 year experience or knowledge in backend technology especially FOL (die attach and wire bonding).
  • Solution-oriented and self-dependent working. Team oriented.
  • International exposure on different chip suppliers & technologies.
  • Strong knowledge in LED / LD chip & system knowledge in the area of electronics and/or semiconductors.
  • Strong in Statistical process control, risk analysis & problem solving method
  • Basic IT knowledge in Minitab, Excel Macro & Power Point
  • Strong Interpersonal & negotiation skills, presentation skills, and clear communication skill
  • Very good written and spoken English skills, Mandarin skills appreciated.
  • Willingness to travel.
