Job Description
Head of Logistics Europe (d/m/f)
Berlin, Germany | Muenchen, Germany

Sense the power of light

ams OSRAM is a global leader in innovative light and sensor solutions. “Sense the power of light” – our success is based on our deep understanding of the potential of light. By adding intelligence to light, we enable our customers to drive transformative applications. Our around 20,000 employees worldwide focus on innovation alongside the societal megatrends of digitalization, smart living, energy efficiency, and sustainability. Whatever your role is, you are a part of a talented team that enjoys exploring and designing new technologies.

Your new responsibilities

Become part of our ENI Business Line – a dynamic division delivering innovative lighting solutions for entertainment and industrial applications worldwide. Our products are used in cinemas, industrial facilities, and other demanding environments where quality and precision are essential.
ENI is currently undergoing an exciting transformation: as part of a carve‑out, the Business Line is being established as an independent unit within the corporate structure of USHIO Inc. As the Head of Logistics Europe (d/m/f), this offers you a unique opportunity to actively shape this transition.

  • Develop strategies and concepts for the European logistics network, including the design and implementation of innovative logistics strategies and solutions, promoting logistics digitalization, and advancing external partner management to support ENI’s overall mission.
  • Manage operational partner relationships and oversee strategic partner accounts with annual revenues exceeding €5 million, including risk and opportunity identification.
  • Lead a team of logistics professionals with a focus on performance coaching and developing key talent.
  • Drive bottom‑up development in logistics; align with Business Units, and create organizational targets.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders (BU leaders, CFOs, SCMs, procurement, logistics service providers, customers, etc.); ensure clear communication with a focus on strategic approaches, KPI development, and problem identification/resolution.
  • Oversee the annual inventory process across Europe.
  • Lead the annual tender process for intercontinental sea and air freight providers.

Who we are looking for

  • Master’s degree in logistics or a comparable field, combined with experience in logistics operations, warehousing and transportation, contract logistics, and outsourcing projects, along with solid financial acumen.
  • Several years of practical leadership experience in logistics management — essential in an international environment.
  • Strong experience in project development and implementation, ideally within the supply chain domain, and good understanding of management tools such as LEAN.
  • Proven experience leading large regional operations and cross‑functional, cross‑regional teams, including responsibility for achieving financial results.
  • Extensive experience in a global function with deep understanding of supply chain management and business KPIs.
  • Broad business and management skills gained within a large organization.
  • Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken.
