Job Description
Supply Chain Architect (d/m/f)
Berlin, Germany | Muenchen, Germany

Sense the power of light

ams OSRAM is a global leader in innovative light and sensor solutions. “Sense the power of light” – our success is based on our deep understanding of the potential of light. By adding intelligence to light, we enable our customers to drive transformative applications. Our around 20,000 employees worldwide focus on innovation alongside the societal megatrends of digitalization, smart living, energy efficiency, and sustainability. Whatever your role is, you are a part of a talented team that enjoys exploring and designing new technologies.

Your new responsibilities

Join our Business Line ENI – a dynamic division delivering innovative lighting solutions for entertainment and industrial applications worldwide. Our products are used in cinemas, industrial facilities, and other demanding environments where quality and precision matter. ENI is currently undergoing an exciting transformation: as part of a carve-out, the Business Line is being integrated into the corporate structure of USHIO Inc. as an independent entity. As a Supply Chain Architect (d/m/f), you have the unique opportunity to actively shape this transition.

  • Contribute to defining and maintaining the overarching process blueprint, governance model (including RACI), and minimum standards for planning, execution, and data integration.
  • Design cross-functional interfaces (process and data) and ensure an effective flow of information between planning, production, logistics, customer service, and sales.
  • Support the leadership of cross-functional initiatives to simplify, standardize, and automate processes; actively contribute to change management.
  • Establish a core KPI set and reporting cadence; ensure transparency and root cause analysis to support decision-making and corrective actions.
  • Define rules and guidelines for key parameters (e.g., lead times, minimum order quantities, safety stocks) to ensure consistent planning and execution.
  • Support operational readiness for major changes (system implementations, 3PL transitions, cut-over) and coordinate stabilization (hypercare).

Who we are looking for

  • Completed university degree in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management, information systems, or a comparable qualification.
  • Initial experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (planning, production interface, logistics, customer service) in manufacturing and distribution.
  • Knowledge of system and process design as well as initial experience in leading cross-functional initiatives (S&OP alignment, ERP/planning implementations, 3PL transitions, interface standardization).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to drive change without direct line responsibility.
  • Knowledge of E2E supply chain process architecture and governance.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, combined with high accountability and execution strength.
  • Fluent English skills; German or other languages are an advantage.
