Your new responsibilities

  • Functional responsibility for all procurement activities and related processes for the Category Business Group (CBG) IT (Hardware, Services)
  • Development of procurement strategies in close cooperation with the international Category Business Team (CBT)
  • Initiating and pursuing of bundling-, standardization- and productivity-improvement measures
  • Development of market analyses and selection of key suppliers for the implementation of these strategies in coordination with the CBT
  • Management of cost-cut projects, annual price negotiations including contract management, as well as setting up project-related tenders
  • Responsible for the achievement of the global CBG KPIs according to the target agreement with Global Procurement
  • Supporting and advising the specialist departments in the central units and in the business units


Who we are looking for


  • Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration or industrial engineering/computer science or comparable qualifications
  • Several years of professional experience as an IT buyer or as a specialist in the IT environment
  • Good technical knowledge in your area of responsibility as well as good international market knowledge
  • Very good and confident use of IT tools such as MS Office and SAP/ARIBA
  • Very good negotiation skills, strong communication skills and assertiveness
  • Fluency in English, strong analytical thinking skills and a high level of initiative
  • Occasional willingness to travel (~ 10%)

The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/).
We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
