- Developing and implementing AI-driven and data-driven solutions for semiconductor manufacturing
- Analyzing and exploring new AI use cases together with Manufacturing, Engineering and IT
- Supporting proof-of-concepts through to productive solutions
- Integrating AI models, data pipelines and AI services into production-related systems
- Building and enhancing modern data and AI platforms based on event-streaming and container technologies
- Implementing solutions for anomaly detection, predictive maintenance and process optimization
- Contributing to the deployment, orchestration, operation and monitoring of productive AI appli
- Exploring new applications for AI agents and agent-based workflows
- Improving data quality, interfaces, documentation and governance together with internal partners
- Training and providing technical guidance to engineers and specialist departments
Who we are looking for
- University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics or a comparable scientific or technical discipline
- Professional experience in Data Science, AI Engineering, Data Engineering or a related technical field, ideally in an industrial environment
- Analytical thinking combined with an independent, structured and team-oriented working style
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and bring different specialist groups together
- Experience in developing and operating data-driven applications or AI solutions in productive environments
- Experience with event streaming, data pipelines and modern data platforms, such as Apache Kafka
- Experience in developing, deploying and orchestrating containerized applications, such as with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD and the reliable operation of productive AI applications
- Knowledge of AI agents, agent-based workflows and their integration into business and production processes
- Practical experience with relevant Data Science, Machine Learning or AI frameworks and libraries, such as Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Very good English skills; german skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally
