Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled Demand Manager to join our team. The Demand Manager will play a critical role in forecasting customer demand, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring demand and supply balance to support revenue target.
- Demand Sensing: Develop and maintain unconstrained demand forecasts using various data sources as well as symmetrical methods like statistical forecast to capture full business opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations and Supply Chain Planning teams to align consensus forecast.
- Sales & Operations Planning: Hand-off demand changes and address meaningful demand evolvements as input for monthly S&OP cycle and production planning.
- Demand and Supply Balance: Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to ensure optimal stock availability to support customer requirements while minimizing excess inventory.
- Revenue Optimization: Support gap closure activities to ensure revenue target is achieved with profitability.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify demand patterns and adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Reporting: Present regular reports on forecast development and risk & opportunity profile to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in demand planning.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven applied professional experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain management, or related role within the semiconductor industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Blue Yonder) and advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment with cultural awareness.
- Business fluent in English. German is a plus but not a must.
