Your new responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Process Engineering Technician plays a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining manufacturing and production processes. They work closely with engineers to ensure operations run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to engineers to complete projects and meet production goals.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineers and managers to design new manufacturing processes or improve existing ones.
  • Documentation: Develop and document standard operating procedures, process flow diagrams, and control plans.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct studies to identify bottlenecks and areas of inefficiency in manufacturing processes.
  • Quality Control: Analyze data from quality control tests to identify trends and develop solutions to improve process performance.
  • Equipment Management: Suggest or implement equipment purchases, modifications, or calibration changes to improve productivity or reduce costs.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting issues.


What we look for


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of general work experience; familiarity with manufacturing technologies and engineering principles.
  • Technical Skills: Prior coding experience and Proficiency in various software and tools used for data collection and analysis; ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safety protocols and government regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills.
