Your new responsibilities

Job Summary

As the Quality Manager of the manufacturing site, your responsibilities will include leadership of the Quality department, creating positive customer interactions, leading the corrective action process, maintaining and improving the quality management systems to IATF 16949/ISO 9001 standards, and helping to drive improvements to our products and processes.

Job Duties

  • Safeguard the implementation and respect of our quality policies and the quality management system according to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and internal requirements.
  • Evaluate and develop improved techniques for control of quality and reliability.
  • Provide technical, administrative, and supervisory support and guidance to Quality team.
  • Manage supplier quality to a high level through positive engagement with key vendors and support the establishment of new vendors. 
  • Work with Process Engineering on process and engineering changes.
  • Support the development and industrialization of new products and processes.
  • Ensure production is producing quality products to specifications.
  • Cultivate and expand positive employee morale.


What we look for


Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering 
  • Combined minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality engineer/manager position at a manufacturing facility that offered the opportunity to gain a well-rounded background in quality.
  • Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Six Sigma certification is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office and the use of statistical software.
  • Supervisory and interpersonal skills are required
  • Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required
