Your new responsibilities

  • Key task is development of new process in Probing (Electrical, Optical) until manufacturability with Strong understanding of the interactions between process and equipment.
  • Main development role on new equipment and process setup, design the robust tool and process window and control, standardization tool config for wafers handling and processability.
  • Lead Tools comparison and able to decide long term Tool and Process strategy.
  • Support Product Transfer team on Process to transfer and release in Production.
  • Work with Production team to set up Tool to tool Matching, Process Window study, Online Process monitoring and Fault Detection. Setup overlay monitoring on pre-process with feedback loop.
  • Work with Chip Design team on mask design and drawing, including set-up the rule, processes for new product introduction.
  • Work closely with Regensburg Process Engineering (Process Development) counterparts to achieve fast and 
    reliable process transfers for Performance improvement and cost saving.


What we look for


  • Master Degree and/or Advanced Professional licensing (B.Sc, Ph.D B.Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field).
  • Fairly extensive – 8 to 10 years (Semiconductor, LED).
  • Professional Knowledge in Semiconductor/ LED, APC, Project management skills, FMEA, Statistics, DOE and 6 sigma Green Belt.
  • Proficient in English and Malay languages.
