Your new responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing support in the handling of all Human Resources (HR) activities for ams OSRAM locations in North America

 

In this role you will…

  • Support the U.S. local recruiting team throughout the talent acquisition process by managing designated stages of the recruitment lifecycle, including creating job postings, coordinating background checks with thirdparty vendors, overseeing the I9 verification process, and advancing candidates through the hiring workflow in SuccessFactors Recruiting.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to publish job advertisements both internally and externally via the ams OSRAM career portal.
  • Assist employees with various HR-related matters—such as benefits, compensation, and general inquiries—while ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
  • Maintain and update employee records and documentation in electronic formats.
  • Prepare and deliver standard HR reports and analyses as requested by team members.
  • Provide email and phone support to address employee inquiries and deliver consistent HR service.


What we look for


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related subject
  • Experience in supporting HR related topics for NAFTA regions will be added advantage
  • Fluent English
  • Able to fit into flexible working environment with readiness to work night shift (8pm-5am)
  • Strong PC skills; Microsoft Office & HR system experience
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Good problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work from home independently, managing tasks effectively without constant supervision
  • Proactively identify and address potential HR issues
  • Take the initiative to propose and implement process improvements to enhance HR operations.
  • A self-motivated and self-disciplined attitude, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
