Your new responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Malaysia, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local labour laws and regulations
  • Maintain and update payroll records, and compensation changes.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, etc.) and ensure compliance with government requirements.
  • Support annual salary reviews, bonuses (annual, spot, etc.), and other remuneration-related processes.
  • Support audits and internal controls by maintaining proper documentation and payroll reports.
  • Assist in payroll-related projects, system upgrades, and process improvements within the GBS framework.
  • Provide payroll support and guidance to employees, ensuring clear communication and resolution of queries.
  • This role requires working closely with Finance and other departments to manage payroll-related financial transactions, including financial postings and forecast reports.
  • Continuously review and enhance payroll processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality.

 


What we look for


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in payroll processing.
  • Proficient knowledge of Payroll.
  • Foundation knowledge of Compensation and Benefits / Timekeeping system.
  • Proficiency in both Malays and English (written and spoken).
  • Familiarity with SAP payroll software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data processing with ability to deliver quality output under tight timelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, flexible to work in odd hours when required.
  • Candidate with experience in Shared Service Centre/MNC will have an added advantage.
