The Process Engineer position is within our Packaging Department team and includes the following primary responsibilities:

• Providing technical support to the automotive lighting packaging lines
• Writing and maintaining work instructions, control plans, process flow, and process failure modes and effects analysis documents
• Performs analysis and root cause investigation into quality concerns, implements corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Drives continuous improvement activities and utilization of LEAN methodologies to improve safety, quality, and productivity
• Training manufacturing personnel as necessary in the use and maintenance of new equipment and processes
• Leading/coordinating activities with cross-functional teams to execute process improvements and quality investigations
• Further develop process control systems to improve the safety, quality, and productivity of packaging lines
• Collaborate with both shop floor staff and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain a supportive presence

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Engineering
• Familiarity with Lean practices is a plus
• Organized with clear written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using reviewing data to support problem-solving and decision-making using Excel, Minitab
