Your new responsibilities

The Category Management / Sales Analyst will support an assortment of key initiatives within the
Automotive Aftermarket Lighting Business. The intern will focus on quantitative analysis of market and
customer sales data, helping key team members more efficiently drive strategies and decisions. The intern
will gain valuable knowledge on the importance of data analytics, quantitative analysis and financial
acumen in a major US consumer business segment.


Your new responsibilities:

Prepare monthly data on consumer demand across 20,000 stores nationally using customer
portals, and established extraction and distillation routines

Using established examples, develop 5 year demand projections for select product types. These
projections will be vital for strategic and capacity planning across the business segment

Working with a global finance manager, learn an existing Power BI sales revenue dashboard tool
and assist local leadership in the refinement and dissemination of the tool


Who we are looking for


  • Pursuant in a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field - preferably with finance or
    quantitative analysis as a focus. Completion of Sophomore year or higher is preferred

    -
    Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and being able to manage very large data sets. Able to create
    pivot tables and comfortable with the most used formulas as they apply to creating value from
    large data sets

    An evident willingness to learn and work in a fast paced environment
    -
    Exposure to Power BI and SQL- designing or manipulating dashboard as plus
    -
    Basic financial analysis understanding through coursework – revenue, margin, turns and key sales
    levers driving a P&L
