- Works independently with limited supervision leading daily operations of teams or groups, or as a higher-level technical resource.
- Maintains production requirements, provides training, and directs process improvements, as well as optimization of the processes and equipment to improve efficiency, output and performance.
- Monitors the operation and maintenance of assigned pieces of complex high-speed lamp making equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- This machinery includes electrical, pneumatic and mechanical components that interact simultaneously, comprising of a production line system.
- In conjunction with department Maintenance Foreman, Engineers and Management, they will develop process, maintenance and equipment improvement strategies to yield continuous improvement results.
- The Technician will also foster team excellence through direct support for the Managers, Maintenance Foreman, Supervisors, Engineers and hourly production associates.
- Will be required to utilize various forms of testing equipment, follow detailed product specifications and prints.
- Will be required to maintain the appropriate production, quality, SPC, maintenance records for assigned position, and to interact with machine information systems.
- At any time may assist in lower grade jobs in the department
- Ability to perform project work. The incumbent must be able to work flexible hours (overtime, weekends) and shutdown periods as required on a continual basis to address the technical concerns and needs of all shifts and the department.

Pay Rate: $25.09/hour
3.00 shift differential
Who we are looking for
- High School graduate or GED required
- 2-5 Years minimum related mechanical & technical experience
- Willingness to attend training or formal classes/certifications required for the position.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to effectively work with all skill sets, including Hourly Production Associates, Mechanics, various levels of Management & Engineering
- Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job
