- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from IT, Manufacturing Operations, R&D and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data models.
- Implement scalable and robust data pipelines from various sources (data logs, databases, APIs) on the shop floor to data repositories on local storage and in the cloud.
- Ensure data quality and data integrity in these pipelines and continuously monitor and improve their efficiency.
- Develop and document best practices in alignment with the global Production Data Management (PDM) team.
- Maintain and support the local data repositories and production applications - and work with the global PDM team in projects to modernize this landscape.
What we look for
- Bachelor’s degree and above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of related working experience in IT, esp. data management, working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL), ETL (Extract, transform, load) using a programming language (e.g. Python, Java, C#) and frameworks.
- Experience in Data Integration tools and technology such as Apache NiFi, Kafka, Airflow.
- Experience in Data platforms on the Azure cloud (e.g. DataBricks, Delta Lake).
- Experience in (semiconductor) manufacturing / operation technology is an added advantage.
- Experience in applying agile methodologies like Scrum / SAFe is an added advantage.
- Very good command in spoken and written English for communicating with global teams and stakeholders.
