• You will perform measurements of photo diode parameters on wafer level in the (mostly dark) optical laboratory.
• After a hands-on training phase, you will help to measure photodiode test chips on silicon wafers.
• You will load the wafers into a semi-automatic prober, position light fibers and tungsten needles which are used for electro- optic measurements and supervise the measurement.
• The measurement programs are available. You can help with data analysis of the measurement data.
• There will be interactions and possibility for discussions with the supervising R&D engineer.
Who we are looking for
• Be able to do a fine manual positioning of mechanical needles and optical fibers.
• Willingness to work with scientific equipment in a laboratory.
• Have an accurate style of working
• Have basic knowledge of optics and electronics.
• After a training phase to have the ability to work on your own.
• Knowledge of Excel
• Device physics knowledge of photodiodes is welcome
• English, DELF level A2 or better
