• Support running business activities in the Quality department, specifically the Reliability and Failure Analysis laboratories. The scope of assignments strongly depends on the candidates experience and capabilities, and will be discussed in course of the hiring process.
• Support general lab activities such as:
- Sustaining activities like inventory check of reliability hardware used of product reliability tests, and of consumables in the failure analysis area
- Support ongoing improvement projects and 5S initiatives, like integration of reliability hardware into electronic databases, and standardization improvements in the lab environment..
• Advanced complexity tasks are dependent on capability of the candidate and can include for example:
- Failure analysis tasks for internal analysis requests, like for example mechanical/chemical preparation and optical and electron microscopy of products including material composition analysis
- Reliability tasks on actual running projects, such as recipe verification on ongoing test requests, integration of test plans into reliability database
- Design / creation of lab hardware like test jigs and customized trays for part handling
Who we are looking for
• Competency and experience in electronics and / or failure analysis is highly beneficial
• Preferable university students in scientific disciplines (i.e. physics, electronics, chemistry, material science).
• Ability to work independently and with accuracy
• Fluent English will be a strong benefit.
• Internship period: July – September 2025, 38.5 hours per week.
