Your new responsibilities

  • Process Integration representative for frontend manufacturing processes: defining and owning functional blocks of overall process, understand interactions, process windows/requirements and ensure that all unit process steps combined deliver a robust and high yielding product
  • Introduction of new technologies/platforms/products into production, act as bridge between unit process development, chip development and the factory´s process engineering, owner of control plan
  • Ensure robust process development, design for manufacturability, fit to factory capabilities / platforms, bring mass production experience into the development process, Early involvement from R&D start to define development needs/do&don’t for manufacturing
  • Clearly understand tool capabilities and influence tool roadmap as required for future technologies, achieve desired capex utilization and specified target cost goal
  • Make sure to identify and monitor critical parameters (special characteristics), ensure smooth ramp-up; update control plans
  • Technical Ownership for site to site technology / product transfers, ensure site synchronization including proper change management
  • Supervise and monitor manufacturing of the process technology in close teamwork with process engineering and quality assurance
  • Improve yields, cost (e.g simplify process), process robustness based on inputs / requirements from yield enhancement / product owners / manufacturing / QA
  • Excursion management, root cause finding, process problems solving in close teamwork with different departments (e.g. manufacturing, process development, QA, FA, product engineering, chip RnD, Test)
  • Take process ownership at customer audits and for control plan related reporting to key customers
     


What we look for


  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or relevant field.
  • Extensive experience in various semiconductor manufacturing environments, particularly in wafer fabs. Broad knowledge of different production technologies and cross-functional integration across various departments
  • Expertise in managing complex projects within multiple areas, such as process development, yield enhancement, and equipment optimization. Ability to drive process improvement initiatives, troubleshoot issues across various functional domains like photolithography, etching, and chemical processes
  • Leadership of diverse teams, from engineering to production staff, fostering collaboration across departments to achieve high performance and operational excellence. Proven ability to mentor, guide, and lead teams through process transitions, upgrades, and efficiency improvements
  • Experience working across global sites and coordinating cross-cultural teams, such as managing operations between locations like Malaysia and Europe. Strong understanding of global semiconductor standards and the ability to integrate international best practices into local operations
  • In-depth understanding of semiconductor process integration, wafer fabrication will be added advantage, and related technologies. Strong grasp of materials science, device physics, and advanced manufacturing techniques for yield improvement and process optimization
  • Highly organized and analytical, with expertise in statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Capable of systematically addressing process inefficiencies and quality issues
  • Proficient in using advanced data analytics tools, process simulation software, and manufacturing execution systems (MES). Familiar with automation systems and the integration of IT solutions for real-time monitoring and optimization of fab operations.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in Malay                            
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and manage stakeholder relationships across different cultural backgrounds. Effective in conflict resolution and team motivation. Adaptability to technological advancements and market changes, as well as a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. A strategic thinker with a focus on innovation and sustainability in semiconductor manufacturing processes
