Your new responsibilities

  • Strategic development of customs processes as well as the procurement and processing of customs data within the ams OSRAM Group to ensure customs compliance and to provide strategic support for the Business
  • Development and implementation of a digitalization strategy for Customs in alignment with the Head of Global Customs
  • Participation in the evaluation of optimization potentials and preparation of results for decision-making documents
  • Further development of the customs strategy regarding process design and data processing for the ams OSRAM Group in coordination with the Head of Global Customs
  • Expert consulting for all business units, legal entities, departments, or other central functions
  • Development of professional requirements for the implementation and enhancement of modern processes with direct or indirect impact on customs handling and/or customs valuation principles
  • Support the global customs network in customs-related matters


Who we are looking for


  • Successfully completed degree in law or economics, or training within the financial administration (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist), or an equivalent qualification with further training in the field of customs
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in process and data management; ideally specific professional experience in customs, preferably within an international industrial company
  • Expertise in customs procedures, customs tariff classification, rules of origin, export control, and customs compliance
  • Proficiency with tools such as ATLAS, SAP R/3, S/4HANA, and MS Office (especially Power BI)
  • Experience in contributing to projects
  • Strong analytical skills and high affinity for working with numbers
  • Assertiveness combined with strong teamwork skills
  • Business‑fluent German and English skills
