Your new responsibilities

Co-op Activities/Projects

  • Identify new competitor LEDs and maintain data base of all cross-referenced parts.
  • Translate customer requirements via color binning tools (plot customer color targets vs OSRAM bins)
  • Assist with research and analysis of market technical requirements, market size, key customers and trends. 
  • Typical automotive applications: forward lighting, signaling, ambient lighting, shy technology, displays and projection
  • Assist in generating new product portfolio, roadmap and application-specific presentations
  • Assist during customer meetings and trade shows
  • Color spectra and filter calculations via Color Calculator
  • LED yield analysis and manage sample stock.
  • Assist with part number creation (i.e., Q numbers).
  • Manage the development of various LED demos and training tools.
  • Coordinate customer-specific testing (Novi Lab) and provide technical reports as required.
  • Research new automotive application/technology trends
  • Assist with VPA data analysis (verify program details, part status,
  • Transpose sales data into Marketing Design Win Activity format

  • Ability to read drawings and datasheets (electrical/mechanical) 
  • Good communication skills
  • VBA, LED experience, data analytics
