The primary objective of this role is to grow revenue and the opportunity funnel in the Mass Market through close collaboration with Sales and Channel Partners, with focus on the ams OSRAM sensor portfolio. As the Regional Mass Marketing Lead the role acts as the key entry point for Sales and Channel Partners for all Mass Market activities in the region, ensuring focus, coordination, and execution on growth opportunities.
To achieve this objective, the role will:
- Serve as the primary Mass Marketing interface for Sales and Channel Partners for Mass Market customers (distributors, reps, and end customers), focused on the ams OSRAM sensor portfolio.
- Actively drive and support end-customer engagements for strategic must-win (DIN/DWIN) Mass Market opportunities in close cooperation with Sales and Channel Partners.
- Closely monitor, track, and support top DIN/DWIN opportunities, ensuring prioritization, transparency, and timely escalation.
- Conduct regular growth reviews with sales account teams focused on Mass Market business to align on priorities, progress, and acceleration actions.
- Support Sales in managing the regional Mass Market opportunity funnel, ensuring transparency, structure, and focus on growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners (distributors and reps), ensuring effective enablement and joint execution in the Mass Market.
- Support regional promotional activities such as customer tech-days, tradeshows, exhibitions, and campaigns to drive Mass Market demand and customer engagement.
Who we are looking for
- We are looking for a technically strong, customer-facing Mass Market professional who can confidently represent the ams OSRAM sensor portfolio in commercial and technical discussions with customers, Sales, and Channel Partners, and who thrives in a highly autonomous role.
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a comparable technical field; a business qualification is a plus.
- Proven experience in the semiconductor or electronic components industry, ideally in a Mass Market environment (manufacturer or distributor), with strong exposure to sensor-based solutions.
- Ability to quickly understand and articulate complex sensor portfolios and discuss technical concepts, applications, and trade-offs with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong customer engagement and communication skills, capable of building credibility with engineers, purchasing, and management at Mass Market customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work highly independently, with strong self-motivation, ownership mindset, and proactively driving topics forward.
- Solid commercial mindset with experience working closely with Sales and Channel Partners to drive opportunity development and revenue growth.
- Structured, results-oriented, and hands-on working style, with the ability to prioritize must-win opportunities and drive execution end-to-end.
- High affinity for data-driven decision making and structured reporting, able to consolidate regional inputs and communicate clearly at management level (strong MS PowerPoint and Excel skills).
- Experience working with Sales and funnel management tools (e.g. Salesforce, SAP, forecasting tools, Power BI or similar).
- Excellent coordination, communication, and networking skills in an international, matrix organization.
- Fluent in English;
- Willingness to travel regularly within the region and occasionally globally.
