- End-to-end project management for technology developments: technology feasibilities as well as full technology development and industrialization are in scope
- Develop project plans with the Project core team (resourcing requirements, logistical constraints, R&D CAPEX requirements, lead-times and other dependencies)
- Covering the entire development lifecycle, from Project Start to Project Close
- Guides the identification of risks that may arise during a project, develops effective and efficient risk response measures
- Challenging all project contributors on all their estimates and deliverables in the pursuit of achieving R&D excellence
- Coordination of the team in the daily business and driving of project execution and coordinating activities of various Teams, ensuring that projects reach each milestone/gate on time, on budget and on spec
- Lead problem resolution and seeking alternative paths when faced with setbacks
- Track and report project progress using ams OSRAM project management standards, escalating issues to management when necessary
Who we are looking for
- Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering or equivalent studies
- Several years (~ 5 years) of professional experience (semiconductor industry experience is an advantage)
- Experience (~ 2 years) in project management (PMI certification is advantage)
- Experience with stakeholder-management (R&D, Management, Operations, Procurement etc.)
- Strong organizational and team building abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is an advantage)
