- Ensuring technical operations outside the regular working hours of the technical department through the use of control technology and qualified inspection rounds
- Professional response to alarm messages (e.g., gas, fire, and other alarms) and assumption of operational command in the event of an alarm
- Ensuring plant security and safety
- Carrying out inspection rounds and security services throughout the entire plant; checking and issuing ID cards at reception
- Implementing reasonable immediate measures in accordance with the instructions of the on-call services and providing support with necessary activities within the scope of on-call duty
Who we are looking for
- Completed technical vocational training (e.g., apprenticeship, Werksmeister, technical college), ideally in the fields of control engineering, electrical engineering, heating, air conditioning, or ventilation technology, or comparable
- Knowledge of and interest in plant security, plant safety, and fire protection
- Willingness to engage in continuous further training in the fields of automation technology, computer science, electronics, and related areas
- Suitability and willingness to work in continuous 3-shift work as well as to participate in the fire department and in emergency management
- Resilience and experience in dealing with challenging situations
- Very good written and spoken German, basic knowledge of English
