Your new responsibilities

  • Autonomous execution of monthly payroll processing for a defined group of employees, ensuring compliance with legal, collective bargaining, and company-specific regulations
  • Ensuring accurate, complete, and timely payroll processing, including all related follow-up activities
  • Maintenance and continuous updating of payroll-relevant employee master data in the HR and payroll system (SAP)
  • Handling payroll-related questions concerning income tax, social security, and labor law
  • Acting as a point of contact for employees, managers, and internal stakeholders regarding payroll-related matters
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection, security, and compliance requirements when handling sensitive personal data
  • Supporting internal and external audits (e.g., social security institutions, tax authorities, internal audits)
  • Contributing to the optimization and further development of payroll processes and ensuring adherence to defined process standards
  • Ensuring structured time and task management, particularly within the payroll cycle


Who we are looking for


  • In-depth professional knowledge of payroll accounting
  • Ability to independently process monthly payroll accurately and on time
  • Strong numerical skills combined with analytical and structured thinking
  • High level of technical proficiency in payroll systems, ideally SAP
  • Strong sense of responsibility, especially when handling sensitive and confidential data
  • Excellent time management skills and a disciplined, process-oriented working style
  • High awareness of compliance, data protection, and security requirements
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
