Your new responsibilities

The person is responsible for validation Engineering activities including characterization of Power Management and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) and design of printed circuit boards. Takes care of development of product specific automated measurements with user friendly GUI (e.g. using programming tools LabVIEW, C#, Python or company specific programming environment).
Debugging and executing the automated tests in the laboratory. Performs analysis and documentation of the test data. Understand how own work integrates within the corresponding function, with focus on own work team.

 

  • Develop validation requirements specification based on design specification and support from Design team
  • Interpreting customer requirements and developing validation schedules
  • Develop Evaluation test board (PCB) for IC validation and automated Evaluation test software, debug test system and run correlation samples
  • Elaboration, reviewing and updating test cases and requirement
  • Discuss and report findings with design team
  • For evaluation support, run tests with higher granularity and support serialized data
  • Keep commitments for validation and debugging development time and quality
  • Evaluate different validation platform options to select most effectual as well as economical solution
  • Analyzing and documenting evaluation results and preparing compliance reports
  • Maintaining instrumentation and equipment
  • Analyzing Customer problem reports and identifying problem’s causes
  • Initial Samples validation and analyzing samples of field returns 


Who we are looking for


  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering
  • 10+ years of preferable experience in validation and characterization of mixed-signal ICs
  • Hands-on experience in state-of-the-art measurement tools and methods
  • Experience in programming languages e.g. C#. LabView
  • Experience in development of automated validation platforms using PXI instrumentation (PCI Extensions for Instrumentation)
  • Working proactively in problem solving, debugging and focusing on solutions
  • Used to a structured and analytical way of working
  • Customer oriented with good communication skills
  • Proficient in English
