Your new responsibilities

  • To provide line‑side process integration support for day‑to‑day manufacturing operations.
  • To act as first responder for inline process deviations, abnormal results and yield excursions & perform first‑level defect analysis and failure mode identification to support engineering decisions
  • To execute defect characterization using optical microscopy, SEM, FIB and EDX tools. To support execution of OCAP/FC actions including tool containment, lot holds and escalation per guidelines
  • To support engineer team for evaluation & process verification. Able to work in rotating shift pattern.To plan & execute projects to improve overall product efficiency (Speed/Cost/Quality) & train junior technicians to attain and improve skills & competencies for line sustaining activities.
  • To comply to EHS and safety regulations with high awareness on safety requirement, keep production workplace 5S and comply to cleanroom protocol.


What we look for


  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Semiconductor, Materials or related field.
  • Min.5 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, yield engineering or inline defect analysis.
  • Experience or strong exposure to semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
  • Basic computer skill, including excel, power point, plotting software. Ability to execute structured analysis, document findings and escalate issues clearly
  • Strong ownership mindset and willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing line. Ability to carry out the job assign independently or minimal supervision and complete the job assign on time.
  • Ability to support shift work.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
