- Supports product design development with focus on risk management activities . DFMEA Moderator in Technical Risk Assessment, dFMEA and Design Review.
- Design & develop new design concept, initiate/trigger design optimization, engineering evaluation and simulation studies to ensure product design meets quality, manufacturability and timeline targets.
- Manage & coach CAD Team in design activities: delegate tasks and lead the team to product high quality and efficient output.
- Co-ordinate with various departments, and understand internal & external customers' technical requirements, initiate design verification studies to ensure the product design meets quality and reliability requirements.
- Support RnD team in developing new packaging technology and perform design optimization with focus on manufacturability and cost effective.
- Work as part of a global team to develop and implement standards for engineering design and effective risk management practices.
- Familiar with inhouse design/process rules, ensure new product design fulfils the requirements through effective design reviews.
- PCB Design Software: For roles involving circuit board design, experience with tools like Altium Designer, Cadence Virtuoso, or Eagle for schematic capture and PCB layout is required
What we look for
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering/ Electrical-Electronics Engineering
- More than two years of working experience engineering/ semiconductor line with Opto-electronics knowledge, coaching skills, Engineering drawing standards, GDT
- More than two years of working experience LED Application Knowledge, DOE, basic FEM, BE Assembly Design Rules & Optics simulation result interpretation
- Management experience in technical function related area preferred
- The employee able to demonstrates good sense of responsibility and work independently, high awareness in urgency & criticalness of tasks, self organized and manage to achieve committed target.
- Technical knowledge in the are of Engineering drawing standards & BE Assembly Design Rules.
DFMEA, GDT, DOE, basic FEM & Optics simulation result interpretation - Programming: Knowledge of programming languages like C/C++ (for embedded systems/microcontrollers) or Python (for automation/data analysis) can be a significant advantage.
