- Specification of µLED display panels: Definition of application-specific requirements for µLED display panels (electrical, electro-optical, mechanical, thermal); translation of the requirements of light engines and AR systems into measurable KPIs for display panels
- Requirements for CMOS backplanes: Specification of electrical and mechanical requirements for µLED/CMOS backplanes, including MIPI, SPI, I2C, synchronisation, data bandwidth, latency, firmware interfaces and test ports; evaluation of CMOS architectural solutions with regard to µLED display applications
- Application expertise in the field of µLED technology: Evaluation of µLED performance under real-world application conditions, including duty cycle, peak current, thermal load, brightness profiles and optical coupling limitations
- as well as the definition of suitable operating ranges, taking into account brightness, power consumption, image quality, service life and customer-specific application Scenarios
- Responsibility for customer-side design-in: leading technical design-in coordination, clarifying requirements and resolving application-related issues, as well as aligning the customer’s system requirements with internal product capabilities
- Validation, debugging and application support: Defining validation plans for the performance of display panels, electrical behaviour, optical performance, thermal robustness and operating conditions relevant to service life
