- Innovative advancement and optimization of VCSEL component properties
- Integration of VCSELs into novel applications through close collaboration with process development and manufacturing interfaces
- Sustainable, systematic resolution of complex design and process-related issues
- In-depth analysis of influencing parameters on component properties and cross-process understanding of interactions
What we look for
- Successfully completed (technical) university degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a comparable technical/scientific field of study
- Solid professional experience in the VCSEL and semiconductor industry required
- Experience with high-frequency technology for data communication as well as aging mechanisms and reliability of VCSEL components
- Profound knowledge in semiconductor technology and/or device physics
- Broad knowledge of available frontend processes
- Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style
- High level of problem-solving ability and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken; medium German skills are desirable
