- Market & Strategy
o Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and regulatory policies for automotive lighting and electronic components in APAC (focus on China, India, and ASEAN).
o Develop and execute regional market entry and growth strategies for the product line.
o Define product roadmaps and lead local requirements assessment for New Product Introduction (NPI).
- End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management
o Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept, development, launch, to phase-out.
o Collaborate closely with project manager, R&D and project teams to ensure products meet regional market needs and are delivered on schedule.
o Lead product pricing, cost analysis, and profitability management.
- Sales & Customer Support
o Provide in-depth product training, competitive analysis, and sales tools to the regional sales team.
o Participate in technical exchanges and commercial negotiations with key customers, offering product solutions.
o Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous product development and improvement.
- Cross-functional Communication
o Collaborate with marketing, sales, R&D, supply chain, and other functions to ensure business objectives are met.
o Gradually take on product management responsibilities for other emerging automotive electronic components, enabling personal and role growth in parallel.
Who we are looking for
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Automotive, Electronics, Mechanical, etc.), Marketing, or Business Administration preferred.
• Experience:
o Minimum 5 years of product management in the automotive components industry, better related electronic components.
o Familiarity with technologies, markets, and key customers for automotive industry.
o Proven experience in successfully promoting products to major APAC AM.
o Experience or strong interest in expanding product lines from lighting to other automotive electronics (e.g. sensors, body electronics….) is a plus.
• Core Competencies:
o Strong market analysis, business planning, and data processing skills. (e.g. Pivot/Tableau/PowerBI/feishu…)
o Good communication, presentation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills; proficiency in English as a working language.
o Results-driven with outstanding project management and problem-solving abilities.
o Entrepreneurial spirit and strategic mindset, adaptable to a fast-changing market.
• Other:
o Frequent travel is required.
