We are seeking a detail‑oriented Documentation Specialist to manage end‑to‑end technical content workflows, including registering documents with proper file naming, finalizing layouts and consistency checks, handling approvals within IN point, and storing finalized documents in the repository.
- Receive, organize, and manage diverse document types (datasheets, guides, notes, briefs, presentations, one‑pagers).
- Assign and register document numbers, ensuring standard‑compliant file naming conventions.
- Conduct layout, formatting, terminology, and consistency checks across templates and workflows.
- Coordinate document approvals via EDM.doc, manage revisions, and follow up on outstanding actions
- Publish approved documents in PIM/Liferay, maintain metadata, and ensure version control.
- Review and edit technical documents for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with documentation standards.
- Create and modify images, diagrams, and engineering drawings using Visio, Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDraw, and related tools.
- Track deadlines, drive tasks with urgency, support workflow automation, and adapt to evolving responsibilities.
What we look for
- University degree or comparable qualification
- Background in semiconductor, product management, marketing/communication, or document management is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS Word (templates, styles, formatting) and solid skills in reviewing and editing PDFs are must‑have.
- Highly structured and reliable approach to managing document numbers, approvals, and versions is essential.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks with precision is required.
- Good English communication skills, proactive mindset, accountability, and strong teamwork are must‑have.
- Experience in project management and handling documentation workflows is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe FrameMaker, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, Microsoft Visio, Excel, SharePoint, and version control tools (e.g., TortoiseSVN) is preferred.
- Strong plus for experience with PIM, Liferay, or other content management systems; familiarity with approval workflows (e.g., EDM.doc); background in electronics or ability to interpret technical content for error detection; and experience with process automation for document handling.
