Your new responsibilities

  • High-Volume Manufacturing Performance Ownership – Drive wafer yield, scrap reduction, cycle time, and output stability for assigned products/foundries.
  • Foundry Operational Management & Escalation – Manage daily/weekly foundry interactions, excursions, line holds, and recovery plans; lead technical escalations when needed.
  • Yield Improvement & Cost Reduction Programs – Identify, quantify, and execute yield and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Risk Management & Capacity Assurance – Proactively assess supply, process, and technology risks (including fab transfers and changes) and define mitigation plans.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination – Interface with Product Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance to align priorities and ensure smooth mass-production execution.
  • Data-Driven Reporting & Management Communication – Prepare clear, fact-based updates for management reviews, including yield trends, risks, and financial impact.
  • Support NPI-to-HVM Transitions – Support product ramps and process freezes to ensure robust handover into high-volume manufacturing.


Who we are looking for


  • Education Background & Industry Exposure – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Semiconductor manufacturing experience, preferably in foundry, IDM, or fabless environments.
  • Years of Experience – 5 years of relevant semiconductor manufacturing, process, yield, or operations experience
  • Essential Knowledge & Professional Skills – Strong understanding of semiconductor wafer fabrication processes and manufacturing controls. Hands-on experience with yield analysis, SPC, excursion handling, and root-cause methodologies. Ability to translate technical issues into operational/financial impact. Solid stakeholder management and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Certification Requirement – No mandatory certification. 6 Sigma / statistical analysis training is a plus.
  • Others – Must-Have Requirements – Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) to effectively engage with local foundries, suppliers, and internal global stakeholders. Experience working with external foundries or manufacturing partners. Strong communication skills; able to engage engineers, managers, and executives. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) environment. Proficient in data analysis tools (Exensio, Datapower, JMP, Minitab or equivalent).
  • Others – Nice-to-Have Requirements - Prior exposure to fab transfers, dual-sourcing, or capacity expansion programs. Experience working in a global, cross-site environment
