Your new responsibilities

OSRAM SYLVANIA is a leading lighting manufacturer in North America and a worldwide leader in lighting solutions. Our Automotive Lighting division in North America is #1 in aftermarket retail and a key partner for the OEM manufacturers.  Our Hillsboro location is the North America Automotive Division Headquarters which manufactures and distributes automotive lighting components worldwide.
 

Product Engineering Intern:
Support development and testing of new OEM LED products and continuous improvement of traditional OEM products and processes.

  • LED Fixture Development and Testing
  • Testing / Build Support for new products, Process Development
  • Rapid Prototype Lab Setup
  • Purchase for Resale  – Validation testing and approval
  • Auxiliary LED retrofit documentation and process support

 

The successful candidate will be exposed to rapid prototyping / A-sample builds, hands-on lab testing, CAD design, conceptual brainstorming, and technical documentation updates.
 


Who we are looking for


Education/ Background Required:  

  • Mechanical Engineer, Materials Science, Physics, or other equivalent background
