The objectives of this role is management and improvement of customer relations in terms of Quality in Japan.
In your new role, you are required to:
- Execute direct communication with automotive / non-automotive customers and QA teams in distributors after alignment with global Quality teams about quality matters of Sensor products
- Handle failure analysis requests from customers in close collaboration with internal global quality teams in accordance with 8D process and satisfy customer expectation by gentle explanation and communication
- Support quality documentation / Provide exact quality documents to customers like PPAP, customer's specific quality check list, qualification reports by co-work with global quality team
- Support PCN / InfoNote process execution by explanation of quality related questions to customers
- Coordinate and support customer's on-site process audits/visits in production sites
- Understand customer's quality requirements and expectations and feedback to the global Quality team
- Possible product coverage will be: Sensor IC Products (CMOS Image Sensor/ToF Sensor/Color Sensor/Position Sensor/etc.)
Who we are looking for
- Technical Education (Technical College, Bachelor or Master) preferably in Electronics, Material science or Physics etc.
- Intermediate Level of English (English conversation & writing without template)
- Native level of Japanese
- Experience interfacing customers
- Experience communicating with global stakeholders
- Experience in (semiconductor) quality management, or
- 3+ years in semicon or electtical appliances/ devices industry, or
- 3+ years of engineering or quality support experience is a plus
