- Part of the project team to cover SW/FW related development activities
- SW/FW Requirements capture and management in formal tools (e.g. Intland Codebeamer)
- SW/FW Concept and architecture design considering modular, test driven approach, software quality and functional safety mechanisms
- Design, implementation, testing and release of embedded FW units following ISO26262 and ASPICE guidelines
- Realizing advanced FW-driven built-in self test (BIST) concepts to support efficient product production test
- Close collaboration with the Hardware (HW) development team, managing the HW/SW interface (HSI), concurrent HW/SW development
- SW/FW test implementation: Establish automated SW test regression and achieve high levels of coverage metrics. Continuous improvement of the SW test framework
- Meet SW quality targets and report achieved metrics (e.g. code coverage etc.)
- Embedded systems HW/SW co-verification (e.g. based on digital simulator)
- Close collaboration with the adjacent product development disciplines (Functional Safety FUSA, Advanced Product Quality APQ, etc.)
Who we are looking for
- Succesffully completed degree (Master) in the area of Software Technology, Telematics, Electronics or equivalent
- At least 2 years experience in SW/FW development for embedded Automotive applications
- High-level programming languages and IDEs on PC and Linux (C++, C#, Java, Python)
- Experience with 32 bit Microcontroller systems (ARM/ARC/RISC-V architectures) and embedded systems
- Basic electronic circuits and communication protocols understanding (I2C, SPI, USB, etc.)
- Proficient with revision control systems (SVN, Git)
- Knowledge of Automotive SW quality standards (e.g. ASPICE) and SW/FW test concepts is a plus
- Experience with ISO26262 compliant SW/FW development is a plus
- Communication skills and proficiency in German and English
- Exceptional team working attitude and skills
